Strengthening Leadership and Service: IEK HQ Philippines Holdings Inc. Honors the Promotion of PCGA Leaders

On September 22, 2025, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), led by Commandant Admiral Ronnie Gil L. Gavan PCG, held a solemn donning and oath-taking ceremony at the National Headquarters in Manila. The event recognized the promotion of two distinguished officers of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA):

  • Auxiliary Commodore Reghis M. Romero II PCGA

  • Auxiliary Commander Karl Lyel B. Lim PCGA

 

This significant milestone reflects President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to strengthen the role of the PCGA in humanitarian missions and maritime civic service.

Commodore Romero reaffirmed his unwavering dedication to the PCG’s mission, declaring:


“Together, we will continue to advance the mission of the PCG—protecting lives, securing our maritime domain, and upholding the sovereignty and dignity of our nation.”

 

Also present at the ceremony were Auxiliary Commander Yongsoo Samuel Cho PCGA, CEO of IEK HQ Philippines Holdings Inc., and Auxiliary Lieutenant Andrew Maquiling PCGA.

 

Their participation highlights the continuing collaboration between the private sector and the PCG, reinforcing strategic partnerships that contribute to maritime safety and civic responsibility.
